In order to change the text color in LaTex, you can use the \textcolor{color}{text} command. Replace color with the desired color name or corresponding hexadecimal code, and text with the text you want to change the color of.
Click on Tools then Protection (see overleaf for screenshot). Click on Mark for Redaction then highlight the area to be redacted. (The text will appear with a frame around it).
Horizontal blank spaces Horizontal spaces of arbitrary length may be inserted with \hspace . There are two commands that insert horizontal blank spaces in this example: \hspace{1cm} Inserts a horizontal space whose length is 1cm.
Open the PDF in Acrobat, and then do one of the following: Choose Tools Redact. On the Edit menu, choose Redact Text Images. Select the text or image in a PDF, right-click, and select Redact. Select the text or image in a PDF, and choose Redact in the floating context-menu.
Open the PDF in docHub. Choose Redact from the Tools menu. You may choose Properties under the drop down menu labeled Redact Text Images. That way you can choose whether you want redacted text replaced with a black box or an empty space.
You can certainly black out text in your PDF without redacting it. In docHub Pros Protect toolbox, you can also set the option to black out the marker. You can go to the Protect Tool to hide sensitive information.
This new command is \blackout, and is used in the form \blackout{Block of text}. This nice thing about this command is that it can stretch across line, paragraph, and page boundaries conveniently.
We specify the transparency using \transparent{} , where the value is from 0 to 1 (0 will make the text invisible and 1 will make the text stay the same as before using the transparent package). Adjust the values to suit.
