To leave Suggestion Mode, click Suggesting in the top-right corner and select Editing. While in editing mode, you can still accept, reject, or comment on suggestions, but you cant create any new ones.
Hiding Suggestions in Google Docs Google Docs underlines can be turned off by clicking on Tools Spelling and Grammar and then unchecking Show Spelling Errors and Show Grammar Errors. Spelling and grammar hints can be turned off in Google Docs.
Open Google Chrome. Go to Settings. Click Advanced Languages. To the right of Spell check, turn it on or off.
To disable Quick Access, simply click on the gear icon in the top right corner of your Google Drive homepage, select Settings, and uncheck the box next to Make relevant files handy when you need them. This will remove the unwanted suggestions from your Drive and give you a cleaner, more focused workspace.
Accept or reject all suggestions On your computer, open a document at docs.google.com. Click Tools. Review suggested edits. A box will appear in the top right. To preview what your document will look like with or without the changes, click the Down arrow. and choose an option. Click Accept all or Reject all.
Turn Smart Compose on or off Open a file. At the top, click Tools. Preferences. To turn Smart Compose on or off, click Show Smart Compose suggestions. Click Ok.
Open a document in the Google Docs app. Tap More . Turn on Suggest changes.
You can check your spelling and grammar, then accept or ignore the corrections. Open a document in Google Docs. In the top left, click Spelling and grammar check. . A box will open in the top right corner. To use a suggestion, click Change. To ignore a suggestion, click Ignore.
