hi my name is Darcy taleno uh associate professor at PRD University Iamp;#39;m the extension plant pathologist here in Indiana Iamp;#39;ve been here since 2018 so about 6 years now as a field crop pathologist here in Indiana we focus on those diseases that are important to both soybean and corn historically here in corn gr LEF spot Northern corn Leaf blight uh maybe some sudden uh soil born diseases ceiling diseases have been issues in corn um until recently uh that has kind of changed a little bit um 2015 we first found tarpot and in 2018 that changed um some of our management practices that we needed to do for this new disease if weamp;#39;re looking at soybean generally weamp;#39;re looking at frogy leaf spot uh sudden death syndrome soybeans sis nematoda some of the major diseases that impact yields here in Indiana there are some other new diseases that may be we may be keeping an eye on but generally those are the ones weamp;#39;re trying to make a management decision for as
