Subject Resource Guides are subject-specific resources. They have been designed by Librarians to communicate subject-specific information and complement the learning outcomes of courses. If youamp;#39;re not sure which databases or other online resources are useful for your assignments, the Subject Resource Guides are a good place to start. To access the Subject Resource Guides, bring up the library homepage - newcastle.edu.au/library. Scroll down the page to the library quick finder menu and click on the Subject Resource Guides tile. You will be taken to a page which lists the subject resource guides in alphabetical order. For example, if youamp;#39;re studying a Bachelor of Arts (History), scroll down to the H and click on History, Ancient History and Classical Languages. At the top left of the guide you can see a list of databases relevant to the discipline of History with a blurb outlining the contents of each database. To access a database, cl
