today we are going to look at how to create custom styles in word as you can see on the screen i have a document that i have started writing so far iamp;#39;ve added a title and a subtitle and pick the fonts and text colors each time i create a webinar i want the instructor knows to have the same elements rather than remembering the choices each time i can create a custom style in word so that i can quickly get the same look and feel for each document at the top of the page there is a style section where you can use some pre-formatted options but i want to use my choices so what iamp;#39;m going to do is click the drop-down and select create style youamp;#39;ll get a floating dialog box in the middle of your screen where you can give the style a name so iamp;#39;m going to call this webinar title next i will click modify so i can change some of the properties associated with this custom style the style type is based on the title and under the formatting section you can see that my

To change formatting in a document, insert a section break at the beginning of where you want the change. Set up the formatting change just past the new section break. If you want to change formatting again, put in another section break. If your changes are to be on the same page, choose the Continuous section break.
Remove a style from the Styles gallery On the Home tab, in the Styles group, right-click the style that you want to remove from the gallery. Click Remove from Style gallery on the shortcut menu.
The first step is to open Microsoft word. Click Styles dropdown at the top of the page. Click Delete Style in the Styles section. Click Delete in the pop-up.
The Modify Style dialog box. Make sure the Automatically Update check box, at the bottom of the dialog box, is clear. (If there is no Automatically Update check box, then Word doesnt offer that option for the style you have chosen.) Click OK.
