okay okay welcome everybody today I would like uh to Showcase you a tool about uh docbook authoring um itamp;#39;s called dubs docbook authoring and Publishing suit itamp;#39;s a tool which allows you to uh publish your docbook XML sources with a single command so uh why did we develop dubs uh docbook itself uh is uh itamp;#39;s a framework that uh delivers a DTD or a scheme and uh various stylesheets but it has in contrast to for instance Tech no tools to actually publish your document you need to fill with xslt proc and uh a lot of other commands in order to get your uh docbook sour is published and uh this uh is a major hurdle for newcomers to to Doc book because itamp;#39;s uh quite complicated uh to publish your sources and uh for long-standing uh docbook authors which maintain huge projects um uh they need to uh develop and manage their own tool set mainly this is done with an or custom make files and this is where dubs come comes in and allows these uh people to uh concentra
