this is Andrea with design morsels and today Iamp;#39;m going to be sharing all about how to get stains out of your Butcher Block whether you have butcher block countertops or a butcher block cutting board the process is the same and in this case I started with a red strawberry which I just completely rubbed into my butcher block and Iamp;#39;m using three different methods to get the stain out I use salt which you can rub into the butcher block with a damp paper towel Iamp;#39;m also using hydrogen peroxide and I decided to also try some lemon juice and it was sort of the combination of these three things that help to remove the red stain completely from my butcher block and if the stain had been deeper thereamp;#39;s an alternate method I would try which is sanding it but I donamp;#39;t usually try to do this unless itamp;#39;s a last resort and this is how it turned out for more tips on how to maintain your Butcher Block visit designmorsals.com

Soak the stain in cold water as quickly as possible for about 15 minutes. If the stain is super fresh, place it under cold running water to flush out as much of the blood as possible. Sponge the stain with hydrogen peroxide or rub bar soap into the stain and scrub by hand in cold water.
You have to soak the sheet in cold water for a night. This loosens the dried blood, making your next steps easier. The next step and the best way to get blood out of sheets is to pour hydrogen peroxide into the bloodstain. Use a soft brush to pat it.
If youre wondering how to remove spotty period blood stains from your clothes and sheets, OxiClean Max Force Spray is the key! Its important to pretreat blood stains because you may not notice them on laundry items before throwing those items in the wash, causing them to set.
To remove old or dried stains from sheets, apply a small amount of hydrogen peroxide directly to the stain after soaking it in cold water. Reapply as needed.
Dawn. If you have some Dawn dish soap, you can also use that to help remove blood stains. Dawn recommends applying a few drops of dish soap directly onto the fabric, covering the entire stain, and then rubbing it in with your fingers.
Pour COLD water over the stain to remove as much of the stain as you can, and then pour hydrogen peroxide directly onto the stain to help lift it some more. Then wash using our favorite powdered Tide. Check that the stain has lifted before drying as usual. (Again, see the note above above about hydrogen peroxide.)
Adding white vinegar to the linen sheets is the best way to clean blood stains off them. First, rub some white vinegar on the spot and rub it gently. Then, wash it off with cold water.
Step 1: Apply cold water to wet the stain. Step 2: Apply a small amount of high-quality liquid detergent to the stain and gently brush with a laundry brush. Let sit for 20 minutes. Step 3: Rinse again with cold water, and blot with a dry rag to remove the stain and water.
