hello my name is Josiah ray Iamp;#39;m going to show you how to enlarge an individual cell using Microsoft Excel now if you look here inside of our worksheet weamp;#39;ve got two cell selected and we want to make just that one cell bigger without making the cells around it any bigger but if we select the say the height and we try to make it any bigger it changes the height for that entire row and the same thing can be said for the column width we try to make it any wider itamp;#39;s going to make the entire column wider so to get just the one cell to be bigger weamp;#39;re actually going to use a cool function called merge and center so Iamp;#39;m going to select the cell and the four cells around it and push this one button up here underneath the Home tab called Merchant Center and now weamp;#39;ve got one cell right in the middle thatamp;#39;s kind of like a monster cell itamp;#39;s four times the size of any cell around it and we can adjust its height etc and move it around

How to remove blank cells in Excel Select the range where you want to remove blanks. Press F5 and click Special . In the Go To Special dialog box, select Blanks and click OK. Right-click any of the selected blanks, and choose Delete from the context menu:
Right-click inside the cell you want to change, and click Format Cells. On the Alignment tab, change Vertical to Top, Center, or Bottom, depending on where you want your text to be placed inside the cell. Click OK. Your text is now aligned and evenly spaced where you wanted it.
Remove extra spaces On your computer, open a spreadsheet in Google Sheets. Select the data range that youd like to remove extra leading, trailing, or excessive spaces in. At the top, click Data Data cleanup. Trim whitespace.
The TRIM function can get rid of white spaces, but it cannot eliminate non-printing characters. Technically, Excel TRIM is designed to only delete value 32 in the 7-bit ASCII system, which is the space character. To remove spaces and non-printing characters in a string, use TRIM in combination with the CLEAN function.
Heres a simple formula in Excel to remove spaces before and after the words in a cell: =TRIM(B1) Apply this formula to all cells in Column B by dragging the bottom right corner of the cell down. This will remove all spaces before and after the words in each cell.
To get rid of the double line spacing in Excel, Select all the text in the text box. Right-click and select Paragraph in the menu. In the Line spacing box, choose Single. Click OK.
Use the Trim formula to remove extra spaces Add the helper column to the end of your data. In the first cell of the helper column (C2), enter the formula to trim excess spaces =TRIM(A2) Copy the formula across the other cells in the column. Replace the original column with the one that has the cleaned data.
