hi weamp;#39;re talking about auto numbering in openoffice and here weamp;#39;ve got to go up and off the screen you might have these toolbars or you might have just the little menu up here and when you type in a number one period space base point one and you see it automatically started this as soon as i hit enter it indented everything in tapes and what itamp;#39;s really cold it gives you a nice looking thing if I would went around like that it wraps and indents if I want to turn it off I just click here or if I click down here now and turn it off thatamp;#39;s it or I could have pressed f12 but you couldnamp;#39;t see that every time you hit a number of period space base do you really want it to trigger auto numbering sometimes that if you donamp;#39;t like that you come down under tools come to auto corrections come over to this option under the text options you click turn off auto number applying numbering dash symbol and say okay now if Iamp;#39;m going to come down here
