How to set length of field in Crystal Reports When you insert the field on your report pull it to the required length. then you right-click on the text field and select Format Feld From the dialogue box that appears there, stay on the General Tab. There is a property called Can Grow.
Convert RPT files (Crystal Reports) to PDF Open your RPT file with your standard application on your computer as usual. There go to File - Print or just press. Ctrl. + P. Choose Microsoft XPS Document Writer as your printer. Click on OK or Print. Select a destination for your XPS file and click on Save.
RPT files may contain text-based reports generated by a variety of applications, including system utilities or document preparation programmes. As most of these are in text format they can be opened in text editors including Apple TextEdit or Microsoft Notepad.
You should open your Crystal, go into File - Report Options and unselect the Retain Original Image Color Depth (or something similar in other CR versions). This will reduce the final quality of the images, but drastically reduce the size of the PDF as well.
How to open an . RPT file. Visit the Crystal Reports website. Download and the Crystal Reports Viewer tool. Open the Crystal Reports Viewer tool and click Browse for report. Open the folder containing the . RPT file and click the icon you want to open.
Change Paper Size of SAP Crystal Layouts Locate the Crystal layout in SAP Report and Layout Manager. In Crystal Report Designer, choose: File Page Setup. Check No Printer and Dissociate Formatting Page Size and Printer Paper Size options, then choose Letter as the paper size. Save the report to local hard drive.
Now, open Excel, go to the Data tab on the Excel window and then choose From Text/CSV under Data Tools section. Select the Load to option to make Import Data table visible. Now the RPT file should be loaded in Excel and you can view it.
You need a suitable software like Gromacs to open an RTP file. Without proper software you will receive a Windows message How do you want to open this file? or Windows cannot open this file or a similar Mac/iPhone/Android alert. If you cannot open your RTP file correctly, try to right-click or long-press the file.
