hi in this video Iamp;#39;m going to show you how to compress a Microsoft Word document reducing the file size of your word document is essential for faster loading times easier sharing and optimizing storage space on your device so letamp;#39;s start the video so this is our Word file as you can see it size is around 11.1 MB if we open it you can see it contains some text and images as well to make this word file smaller in size select any picture by clicking on it then click on picture format tab look for adjust section and then click on compress pictures icon so this is the icon click on it compress pictures window will appear in the compression options make sure the option apply only to this picture is unchecked and delete cropped areas of these pictures is checked under resolution select use Default Resolution now click on okay next step is to save pictures at the lower resolutions so click on file and then click on more and then click on options from the menu on the left panel
