Step 1: Clean the Area. Start by cleaning the scratched area with soap and water to remove any dirt or debris. Step 2: Sand the Scratch. Begin sanding the scratch with the coarsest sandpaper (200 grit), using gentle, circular motions. Step 3: Apply Heat (Optional) Step 4: Polish. Step 5: Protect.
Soap and Water Can Save the Day Warm water is the first solution to try when removing scuff marks. The addition of some gentle dish soap can make things even easier. Take a soft sponge or cloth, dampen it with the water-based solution, and gently wipe the targeted area until the scuff mark disappears.
How to Remove Shallow Scratches? Clean the plastic surface with a damp cloth, rubbing in a circular motion around the scratch. Dry the area to remove any dirt which should make the process easier to carry out. Apply a mild abrasive, such as toothpaste, furniture polish, baking soda or plastic polish to the scratch.

MeMoreUm so what i have here is this is a magic eraser now i want you to see what its going to do for. Me. Im gonna come over and wipe this. And now you have clean no scuffs no marks on your plastics.
A paste of baking soda and water (mix the parts until theyre the consistency of toothpaste) is mildly abrasive, so it gently buffs away surface scuffs when you rub it on the wall in circular motions with a cloth. When youve successfully banished the scuff, wipe away the leftover bits with a clean, damp cloth.
You can use a melamine sponge like a Magic Eraser on wall scuffs. Start by rubbing lightly in an inconspicuous area to make sure you wont remove any paint or wall texture. And avoid using it on wallpaper, as the sponge might be abrasive enough to remove some of the paper.
Scuffs on floors and walls are often easier to remove when theyre fresh. Rather than docHubing for harsh chemicals first, try plain water. Start with a damp, soft cloth or sponge, and gently wipe the mark so keep the surface safe.
Baking soda is mildly abrasive and may be all you need to remove minor scuffs. Create a solution by dissolving four tablespoons of baking soda into one quart of water. Dampen a soft cloth or sponge with the mixture and rub gently to remove marks. Remove any residual solution with a clean, dry cloth.
