hereamp;#39;s a video that will just show how to clean up red lines for formatting issues sometimes when you run the red line you will see that you get all these formatting comments theyamp;#39;re really superfluous and make the document more difficult to read so what you can do is click on show markup and uncheck comments inc insertion and deletions so that leaves only formatting thatamp;#39;s the only markup being shown on this document then you can go to accept and accept changes shown that accepts all the comments then you go back to show markup and select insertion deletions if you had anchor comments now weamp;#39;re showing just the red line changes the formatting changes donamp;#39;t appear making this much easier to read and more user friendly

How do I turn off track changes in Word? Click the Review tab located in the Ribbon and the Track Changes down arrow Track Changes to turn it on or off, and thats how you remove all track changes in word.
This red line is there because there are still changes in the document that need to be accepted (which can be minor changes like double spaces or a wrongly placed comma). Step 1: Go to the Review tab and click on Accept (Word 2019). Step 2: Click on Accept All Changes and Stop Tracking.
Simplest method is to accept all changes under Track Changes. That does get rid of all trace of the markup but makes the changes permanent. Otherwise, on the Reviewing tab, change the view for Track Changes to No Markup. Note that the change tracking will still be there, you will not see it.
Replies (1)  Click on the menu (three-dotted) button in the top-right corner. Click on Settings. Click on Options. Under the Proofing section, turn on the Hide spelling errors toggle switch.
