This is the functional definition of radio-buttons. Once a selection is made, you can only switch from one button to another, not de-select them entirely (unless you reset the form). Tools - Forms - Preapare Form - More Options - Clear Form.
You can add an additional dummy radio button at the top and set its CSS to invisible with size 0. Through code you can write custom logic to ignore that dummy radio button selection.
Getting the Developer tab. (2) On the Developer ribbon, choose Design Mode. (3) Right-click on the troublesome button and choose Properties. (4) Find Value and change it to False (just delete True and type False).
One simple way to achieve this is to have a button or icon next to the radio button and its OnSelect property to be Reset(rdoButton). This is easy, but if there are many radio button controls, it could result in lots more controls on a screen or in an app.
No matter how hard you try, you cant turn off radio buttons by clicking on them. Another choice must be clicked to deselect the current one. Since no option is needed or applicable, once a value has been selected, it cannot be changed.
