Lennie is scared that George will get angry and that he wont let Lennie have any rabbits. He accidentally killed a puppy, and he is scared that George will get angry and say he cant have rabbits. Later, when Lennie is touching Curleys wife and she screams, Lennie is scared George will get mad if he hears her.
