What is XPS? The XML Paper Specification (XPS) driver is a new printer driver that is designed to make use of the advanced XPS color and graphics features. This driver is available for Microsoft Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10 operating systems.
Windows 11 and 10 can open XPS files using Microsofts Reader app. You can use Pagemark to open XPS files on a Mac and the Pagemark XPS Viewer plug-in for Firefox and Safari web browsers.
Similar to PDF files, XPS files also preserve the formatting, fonts, and images of a document. However, it is important to note that XPS files can only be opened and viewed on devices that either have a built-in XPS viewer or have installed Microsofts XPS viewer software.
Windows Office Suite comes with a print to PDF option that will easily handle the XPS to the PDF conversion process.
