This limitation stems from the design of most printers that dont print content in the margins. PowerPoint cant change this printer-margin limitation, but heres a workaround you can try. Unfortunately, its a bit time-intensive and requires some trial and error. Go to Design Slide Size Custom Slide Size.
Start by choosing File and then Print, and clicking the Position and Size settings. Usually, the default option is Scale to Fit Media, which prints to the page margins. Deselect it, then manually enter scale, height and width values that equal the full size of your paper. Click Print to print your image.
Microsoft Powerpoint does not have the ability to create a bleed, so you will have to set up a custom page size. Once presentation is opened go to File, Page Setup. Note: If your document needs to bleed, you will have to create a custom size to which you add 1/8 inch (.
Setting Your Printer Choose Printing Preferences from the pop-up menu, then look at the setup options your print driver provides. Usually, there will be one called Layout or Page Layout. Once youve clicked Layout, you should have the option to manually set your margins to zero.
Can I print my slides without white page margins? Select File Print Print Full Page Slides. In the Print dialog box, look for a More settings link and select it. Look for Advanced options or a Margins option that you can adjust, such as in the example below:
Select File Print Print Full Page Slides. In the Print dialog box, look for a More settings link and select it.
Change the slide size On the Design tab, in the Customize group at the far right end, click Slide Size. Click Custom Slide Size. In the Slides sized for list, click the size you want to use, or use the Width and Height boxes to select custom sizes. Click OK.
