The classic option of dialing *67 before the number youre calling still works. This only blocks the call youre making at that moment, not any future calls. There are also a number of burner apps you can use to contact people without providing your actual number.
The code *67 (or #31# in some regions) is used to block your caller ID when making a call, so the recipient of the call wont see your phone number. If you want to docHub someone without revealing your number, you can use this code before dialing their number.
Navigate to Restrictions - Phone. Under Calls, find the Outgoing calls option and click on Restrict to block outgoing calls on Android devices.
Even with todays diverse range of communication devices, *67 still works on cell phones and landlines. No matter which device you use, whether an iPhone or Android, the code allows you to hide your phone numbers during calls.
Star 67 still works on landlines and cell phones, including Android and iPhone. *67 does not work when you call toll-free or emergency numbers or when someone blocks your number; sometimes, it depends on your phone service providers.
*67 Caller ID Block: Hides your phone number on Caller ID systems. *69 Call Return: Redials the last number that called you. *70 Call Waiting: Places your call on hold so you can answer another. *72 Call Forwarding: Forward your call to another phone number.
You have the option to block Caller ID either temporarily or permanently. To block your number from being displayed temporarily for a specific call: Enter *67.
You simply need to add numbers to a block list through your phones settings. There should be a small i icon next to every number on your contacts list. Tap this number next to the contact you want to block. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click Block this Caller. Tap to block the contact.
