hi in this video I am going to show you how to attach the sides to the gusset of the sleigh to form the sleigh youamp;#39;ve already made your size and sown them together and youamp;#39;ve made your gusset attached your runners and youamp;#39;ve sewn across the gusset in two spots this helps with folding the sleigh so fold your gusset on those two lines and then youamp;#39;re going to attach the side to the gusset and the first attachment point the first place that youamp;#39;re going to pin it is this back corner so pin through your side right on that back corner and then match it to that back corner of your gusset now you can pin up the back and the pattern tells you to pin up the back or if you want to you can just place a pin in the front here just to stabilize it so then what you are doing and what you will be doing is you will be sewing the outside layer of the gusset to the inside layer of the sides so thatamp;#39;s how you want to pin those together and you are sewing edg

After the Pearl comes the Blackwing 602, the original Blackwing pencil. Ideal for writing, the 602 has a firm lead thats a little smoother and darker than that of a typical writing pencil. Its a versatile pencil whose lead is similar to a B or HB. The hardest Blackwing pencil is the Natural, with extra-firm lead.
In 2008, California Cedar Products Company acquired the Blackwing name and reintroduced the Blackwing 602 pencil under its Palomino division in June 2011. However, this is only an approximation of the original Blackwing, lacking the graphite formula of the original, Blackwing in name only.
Blackwing 602 Pencil - Firm This pencil is a fan-favourite and an all-time bestseller for a reason. It offers great point retention while still gliding smoothly across the paper, making it ideal for writers and artists who dont want to compromise on either aspect.
Charles Berolzheimer, is Chairman and CEO of California Cedar Products Company. The companys Blackwing pencil products inspire customers to enjoy a broad and creative analog lifestyle including art, music and writing.
A note on manufacturing and sourcing: While the modern Blackwing pencils are manufactured by CalCedar, an American Company, they arent entirely a made-in-the-USA pencil. CalCedar (sustainably) sources its pencil slats from California and Oregon, and the graphite in the Blackwing pencils comes from Japan.
Blackwing pencils are prized for their high-quality graphite that rarely breaks, incense-cedar wood that sharpens easily, and distinctive flat ferrule and rectangular eraser.
Every pencil will smudge, and softer leads will smudge more than harder leads. The Blackwing is actually very respectable in this department. Even though its the equivalent of a 4B, I find it doesnt blunt too quickly. A lot of that will depend on your style of drawing and the paper you use.
In 1994, disaster struck when the machine that produced the unique rectangular ferrule and eraser system broke down. The company decided to sell out the remaining stock, and the Blackwing 602 was officially discontinued in 1998.
