okay Iamp;#39;m about to put in some page numbers on a report that I have here and in order to check to see what the page numbers are doing right now Iamp;#39;m just going to start with section tube here and just to see what happens I go over to the word page number while Iamp;#39;m in the header and footer tools and I go down to the words current position and I click on one when I do this I see that I have a zero on the table of contents page and I have a zero and another zero and then I go to two and in any case all of the numbers arenamp;#39;t working so what do I need to do well the first thing I want to do is I want to get rid of that page number because it actually doesnamp;#39;t work and then I have to take a look at my headers right now the first thing you wanted to determine is whether your headers are actually set up correctly and I can tell right away that in fact my headers are not how do I know that when I click on my very first page that is the cover of my report it

The appendix label appears at the top of the page, bold and centered. On the next line, include a descriptive title, also bold and centered. The text is presented in general APA format: left-aligned, double-spaced, and with page numbers in the top right corner. Start a new page for each new appendix.
Delete a page in Word Click or tap anywhere in the page you want to delete, press Ctrl+G. In the Enter page number box, type \page. Press Enter on your keyboard, and then select Close. Verify that a page of content is selected, and then press Delete on your keyboard.
Follow these steps: On the Format menu, click Bullets and Numbering, and then click the Outline Numbered tab. Select one of the styles, for example, Chapter 1 (the last style choice). In Level, click 7. In the Number format field, type Appendix, and then press the spacebar to insert a space after the word Appendix.
Put in a Section Break (Layout tab of your ribbon). Then go into the header or footer where the page numbering is. Make sure follow previous is unchecked or uncheck it. Then you can delete the page numbering.
How to remove page numbers in Word manually Open the header or footer. Select the page number and press Delete Close the header or footer. Go to Insert Select the Page Numbers tool. Select Remove Page Numbers Repeat for each section as needed. Locate the page number.
Remove the page number from the first page Go to Insert Header Footer. Select Options on the right side, and then select Different First Page. Select Options again, and then select Remove Page Numbers. To see your page numbers and confirm deletion of the number from the first page, go to View Reading View.
Step 2: Go to the Insert menu at the top of the screen. Scroll down and click on Index and Tables. Select the Table of Contents tab in the dialog box that opens. Uncheck Show Page Numbers.
Remove page numbers Go to Insert Page Number, and then choose Remove Page Numbers. If the Remove Page Numbers button isnt available or if some page numbers are still there, double-click in the header or footer, select the page number, and press Delete.
