hello this is Douglas romba and in this episode of the Linux back to basics series Iamp;#39;m going to discuss an application thatamp;#39;s standard very conventional in Linux although it doesnamp;#39;t get used a whole lot anymore and that is growth now graph is a very old school document formatting system itamp;#39;s the it stands for good new Roth and Roth is short for run off which is a very old like original UNIX type formatting system for making documents on the terminal if you are familiar with latex weamp;#39;re in the same ballpark latex and Groth are fairly similar although they do things in very different ways so this graph utility is useful because itamp;#39;s fairly simple and easy to use itamp;#39;s syntax is fairly brief itamp;#39;s doesnamp;#39;t take a lot of typing to get your formatting across necessarily and it itamp;#39;s very small the full graph environments not very big in fact let me just go ahead and run it in a a little quick there my not counting d
