in this video you will see how to put border around text in word document as you can see i have added a thick black border around this paragraph to add border around text first select the text after selecting the text you will see here the option borders click on the drop down now select the option outside borders to give a border by default this border is a thin border if you want to change the thickness of this outer border then again select the text and this time under the borders go to borders and shadings you will see many options here you can select a dotted or a dash border if you want to you can select the color of the border and this is the thickness of the border you can just select any thickness for example three points and you will see the preview and under the apply to option make sure you have selected the option paragraph and just click on ok to put a thick border with the different style click on that like button comment below and let me know if this video solved your p
