hello everyone welcome to my studio and today I thought I would take you through the steps that I follow when I mat and frame a fine art photograph and Iamp;#39;m also going to show you some of the tools that I use uh when I do that so that you can get an idea of uh the process involved uh so today Iamp;#39;m going to be framing this piece here uh this is printed on Canon fiber platine uh itamp;#39;s a kind of a panoramic format uh the outer dimensions are to be 15 by 30 and the print size is approximately 24 in wide by about 9 in high so that gives me around a two 2 and 1/2 inch border for my mat so to start you notice that I printed this on a roll this is 36 in wide and I position the print on the paper so that uh I have about two Ines on each side Iamp;#39;ll have to cut one end and I just do that instead of centering it so that I only have to cut on one side instead of cutting on both sides but usually I like to leave a nice border so that I can handle the print I can work with

Click and drag on the image to create a rectangle shape that covers the area you want to blackout. Right-click on the shape and select Format Shape from the context menu. In the Format Shape pane, go to the Fill Line tab. Choose a solid color for the fill option to blackout the selected area.
You can hide unwanted portions of an image without modifying the image file. Double-tap the image. The mask controls appear. Use the controls to change which parts of the image are visible: Tap Done when youre finished. Double-tap the image at any time to readjust its mask.
Select the Blur tool in Photoshop, choose a brush tip and strength, and drag it over the spots you want to blur. You can do the same in Lightroom. Show movement with motion blur. Add movement to a static object or person in a photo by applying a directional Path Blur filter in Photoshop.
How to Blur a Picture on Photoshop? Select the Lasso tool from the left-hand toolbar. Select the area by dragging the tool. Click filterblur and choose gaussian blur. Adjust the radius to blur the selected area. Click apply and you can save your image now.
Cover part of a picture Select Insert Shapes. From the shape gallery, select a shape suitable for covering the are of the picture you want to obscure. Click and drag to draw the shape over the right area of the picture.
