To do that you use one or both of the attributes ROWS or COLS. Using ROWS in a tag tells the browser that you want to divide the window horizontally, COLS says you want to divide it vertically. The values taken by these attributes then define where you want the division to occur.
The tag inserts a single line break. The tag is useful for writing addresses or poems.
Resizing iFrames Using HTML Find the iFrame element in your HTML file, then look for the width= attribute. After the =, enter the size in pixels you want the iFrame to be. For example, an attribute of width=500px will size it to 500 pixels.
Remove scrollbars by adding the tag scrolling=no. Remove borders by adding the tag frameborder=0.
The tag defines a thematic break in an HTML page (e.g. a shift of topic). The element is most often displayed as a horizontal rule that is used to separate content (or define a change) in an HTML page.
You can remove the border by setting it to none or 0 . There is also an outline when the element has focus. You can change its appearance but you shouldnt remove it. If you want to change multiple/all the styles on the element setting all: unset as the first style is an easy way to get a blank slate to start from.
Open in a new window The first option is to open the new website in a new window, which would accomplish the goal of breaking out of the iframe. A problem with this solution is that most modern browsers automatically block pop-up windows, so your respondents are not likely to see the new window you tried to open.
How do you easily break out of frames? Description: Use target=top in all hyperlinks or the in the HEAD element. This doesnt solve the problem of the current page being trapped in a frameset, but all subsequent pages opened will not be in a frameset.
