hey folks itamp;#39;s mike murphy todayamp;#39;s quick tip is for font lovers and mac users so if you collect a lot of fonts especially free fonts we donamp;#39;t always know where they come from where the source is sometimes the fonts are not really well made or they get corrupt itamp;#39;s a get corrupt or if thereamp;#39;s something wrong with them they can really wreak havoc on your Mac they can cause it to slow down they can cause other programs to crash theyamp;#39;re really hard to tell if itamp;#39;s a font related issue but they are known to cause a lot of problems on your Mac let me show you how to use font book to actually run a validation and find out if you have any corrupt fonts then you can remove them if you do if you go into your Applications folder on a Mac youamp;#39;re looking for a font book youamp;#39;re going to double click on font book thatamp;#39;s going to open up this and this is kind of a an organizer of your fonts you might not even know it exist

The font file might be in a place on the system that is hidden to Design Print. On your Mac look in the Library Fonts file, which can be in your User, Local, Network or System file, depending on where the access is.
In the Font Book app on your Mac, select one or more fonts, then press Delete. Click Remove Fonts or Remove Non-System Fonts to confirm. Removed fonts are moved to the Trash.
Open the TextEdit app on your Mac. Select the text you want to strikethrough. Right-click on the selected text and choose Font Strikethrough.
Activate fonts In the Font Book app on your Mac, select one or more deactivated fonts, or a deactivated font collection. Choose Edit Activate. Activated fonts are no longer dimmed in the list of fonts.
All Users: Fonts are available to any user on this Mac and are located in the Fonts folder in the system Library (/Library/Fonts/). You must enter an administrators password to fonts here.
