Navigate to File Properties. Click the Fonts tab. If a font has the phrase (Embedded Subset) after the font name, then embedding is allowed.
Color contrast requirements for font accessibility A font color is considered accessible when it contrasts sufficiently with its background. To that end, fonts should have a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 with their background. For larger text (18pt or higher), it should be at least 3:1.
To embed fonts on Mac follow these steps: Click PowerPoint in the menu bar and select Preferences (or alternatively hold ⌘ + ,). Click Save, in the middle-left. Under the Font Embedding heading, check Embed fonts in the file.
There are four permissions of font embeddability installable, editable, print/preview and restricted. Installable - Allows fonts to be embedded in the document and installed permanently in the computer. Editable - Allows fonts to be embedded in the document but only installs fonts temporarily in the system.

IBM AFP fonts are comprised of two or three components. contains the actual bitmaps/glyphs of the font. Each character in the font is referenced by what is known as the GCID (Global Character Identifier). These are IBM standard names for the characters in the font.
