Group objects: Select multiple objects, then Control-click one of the objects and choose Group from the shortcut menu. Ungroup objects: Control-click the group, then choose Ungroup from the shortcut menu.
Instructions for creating hanging indents in Word, Google Docs, and Pages. Select your citation(s). Right-clickthe selected citation and click Paragraph in the pop-up menu. In the Indentation section, open the Special drop-down menu and select Hanging. Click OK to exit the pop-up menu and implement your changes.
On the Layout tab, in the Paragraph group, use the arrows to choose indentation and spacing options. To indent the paragraph, enter the distance you want in the Left or Right boxes. To change the amount of space above and below a paragraph, enter a number in the Before or After boxes.
If you want to indent all lines in a paragraph, you can use the Increase indent and Decrease indent shortcut buttons. Select the text you want to indent. Click the Increase indent shortcut button to increase the indent by increments of a half-inch. All lines of the paragraph will indent.
Go to the Format sidebar, and click on the pull-down menu for Bullets Lists. Next to the one you want, Bullet probably, move your cursor over to the right side of that item until you see a tiny right arrow that looks like a symbol. Click that and then go to Shortcut, and assign an F-key to it.
In the Format sidebar, click the Style button near the top, then click one of the default indent buttons in the Alignment section to increase or decrease the indent of an entire paragraph. If the text is in a text box, table, or shape, first click the Text tab at the top of the sidebar, then click the Layout button.
Select the text or paragraphs with the background color you want to remove. In the Format sidebar on the right, do either of the following: If the color is behind the text only (not into the margins): Click the Style button near the top, click the Action pop-up menu , then deselect the Text Background checkbox.
