hi my nameamp;#39;s Gordon from gimme oh and today weamp;#39;re going to talk about why email signature images get converted to attachments now the most common reason that images in emails get converted to attachments is because the emails are being sent or received in plain text format so what that means is letamp;#39;s say you receive an email and the images are attached to the email instead of remaining in the actual body of the email usually the reason for that is because email at some stage has been converted to plain text format and plain text format doesnamp;#39;t support images in the body of the email so letamp;#39;s say for example you get an email from your friend and theyamp;#39;ve sent it using HTML format and theyamp;#39;ve put some images in the email like in their email signature for example and youamp;#39;ve received the email and you see their email signature images as attachments now the reason for that is probably that your outlook has converted the

Download a photo from inside an email If a photo is inside an email message instead of added as an attachment, on your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app . Open the email message. Touch and hold the photo. Tap View image. Tap the photo. In the top right, tap More . Tap Save.
Open Outlook and locate the email containing the inline image you want to save. In the preview window, select the image. Right-click on the image and choose Save as Picture. Specify the location, file name, and image format (e.g., PNG, JPEG).
Embedding images saves prospects from downloading the image separately. Service providers are also less likely to mark emails containing embedded images as spam. Email providers are increasingly wary of linked images or attachments that look suspicious.
Drag-and-drop embedding Email providers, like Gmail, allow you to drag an image from a folder and drop it into an area inside the compose box that says attach files here. Gmail will automatically embed the image and realign it so its in line with the rest of the plain text.
If you want to remove an image from your email completely, just click anywhere on the image and click the trash can icon. It doesnt matter what type of image you have or where your image is located in the email - its the same process to remove them.
Chrome Click the Chrome menu icon in the upper right-hand corner of the browser. Select Settings. Click Privacy and security on the left. Click Site Settings. Click Images. Click Show all images (recommended).
Suffice it to say that image heavy emails can wind up in the spam folder, the last place you want your email. ISPs look for, and at content to help decide where your email will be delivered. If there is no content (images dont really count) your email may go to the spam folder.
NOTE: To extract all embedded images from selected mail items, you can right-click on the Outlook email in the preview window and choose Save as HTML. To save embedded images from all or multiple emails, select those emails from the preview window and Click Save Repaired File. Then select HTML format from the Save As.
