hi everybody today Iamp;#39;m just going to show you something really quickly but itamp;#39;s a really handy tool for collaborating on Google Docs with people this is the insert comment button so if youamp;#39;re working on a Google doc and you want to insert a comment into that doc all you have to do is highlight the section of test that youamp;#39;d like to add a comment to once you do that youamp;#39;re going to notice that a new icon appears on the right hand side of the page this is the insert comment button so if I click on that button this popup appears which gives me a place to leave a comment so I can type whatever I want into the text box and then click comment to leave my comment there are other ways to leave comments you can head up to the insert menu here and navigate down to comment you can also use the applicable keyboard shortcut to leave a comment if youamp;#39;re on a Mac like I am the default command is command option M ultimately though of all of these options

To reject a change, click the X, and the suggestion will disappear. To leave Suggestion Mode, click Suggesting in the top-right corner and select Editing.
The comment will disappear, but you can continue to access it in the Comment History. You can open the Comment History by clicking the comment icon next to the share button in the top-right corner. The Comment History window shows active and resolved comments. If you need to re-open a comment thread, click Re-open.
To reopen them (i.e. undo Resolve comment), simply type a reply in the text box. This will bring back the comment thread and will also send an email notification to the document owner and the person who made the original comment.
You can filter comments in Google Docs, Slides, and Sheets. To show all comments or comments for you, select a tab. To show open or resolved comments, click All types. All comments in that category will appear in the window.
Open a document that contains comments. Select the Review tab in the ribbon. Under Delete, select Delete all comments in Document.
To view all comments, including all resolved comments, open the Comments pane by clicking Comments in the ribbon. You can interact with comments in the Comments pane the same as you would in the contextual view. If you reopen a resolved comment, it will be visible again in the contextual view.
