The other way to create comments in Batch Script is via the :: command. Any text which follows the :: statement will be treated as comments and will not be executed.
Block Comment You can comment out selected block of code with C style comment /* */ . To do so, select the block of code you want to comment out and press CTRL+Shift+/ (slash).
To comment out HTML code, use the less than symbol ( ) followed by an exclamation mark ( ! ), 2 hyphens ( -- ), the comment, 2 hyphens again ( -- ), and greater than symbol ( ). And there you have it now you can comment your HTML code correctly and safely. Thank you for reading.
