Hi everyone, Kevin here. Today I want to show you how you can create your very own fillable form using Microsoft Word. First off, what is a fillable form? You can have people go in and fill out a form, but they wonamp;#39;t be able to edit the questions or the structure of the form. You can use things like check boxes, text fields, drop down lists, date pickers, to build your form. Once someoneamp;#39;s finished completing your form, they can e-mail it back, they could print it out, or you could even connect it to a database. docx file is a Word document, while a . dotx file is a Word template. Both can be opened and edited in Microsoft Word, but a . dotx file opens as a new document to preserve the original template.
Removing Metadata From Word Using a Mac Open the file you would like to remove metadata from. Click on the Tools menu and select the Protect Document option. In the Protect Document window check the box next to Remove personal information from this file on save Finish working on your document and then save.
To deselect the document property field using the right arrow key, you need to: Place your cursor at the end of the document property field. Press the right arrow key once to move the cursor outside of the field.
To selectively edit or remove document data, click File Info Properties. Click Show All Properties. Delete or edit information.
Try it! Select File Info. Select a property that starts with Add, like Add a title, Add a tag, or Add an author. Enter the information. To see more properties, select Show all properties. When youre done, select the Back arrow and Save. your changes.
On the Word menu, click Preferences. Under Personal Settings, click Security . Under Privacy options, select the Remove personal information from this file on save check box. Save the document. Notes: The following personal information is removed from your file:
Using Document Inspector in Word (Windows) To use Document Inspector, go to File, Info and choose Inspect Document then select the appropriate content to inspect, and click Inspect. Then click Remove All. Remember always to check the details of your file to make sure all metadata has been removed
