What is FTX? FTX was one of the largest digital currency exchange platforms for buying and selling cryptocurrencies. As more people invested in cryptocurrencies, they turned to these platforms because they provided a digital wallet to store cryptocurrencies directly in a personal account.
FTX (CRYPTO: FTT)
FTX Trading Ltd., commonly known as FTX (short for Futures Exchange), is a bankrupt company that formerly operated a cryptocurrency exchange and crypto hedge fund.
FTX currently offers XRP, BNB, TRX, BTC, ETH, EOS, USDT and LEO leveraged s. A year after its founding, FTX Exchange introduced the exchange called FTX or FTT. The FTT coin is an ERC-20 standard that is actively used by ecosystem participants.
Although FTX equity was not available for public trading, most retail investors could bet on the exchange by buying the FTX (FTT), which was issued by the exchange. This could be used to pay for transaction fees and as margin collateral, and it was traded on cryptocurrency markets similar to a stock.
Sam Bankman-Fried named his cryptocurrency exchange FTX. It stands for Futures Exchange.
