A file with the DOCM file extension is a Microsoft Word macro-enabled document. Introduced in Office 2007, they are like DOCX files in that they can also store formatted text, images, shapes, charts, etc., but theyre different because they can execute macros to automate tasks in Word.
Add Word Macros In your Word template, select View Macros View Macros. Enter a name for your macro in the field Macro name. Select your active document in the Macros in the dropdown. Click Create and insert your macro code and save. Select Word Macro-Enabled Document (. docm) in the Save as type drop-down and save.
How to Convert DOCM to WORD? Click the Choose Files button to select your DOCM files. Click the Convert to WORD button to start the conversion. When the status change to Done click the Download WORD button.
A DOCM file is a Microsoft Word macro-enabled document. Open one with MS Word, or for free with Google Docs or OpenOffice Writer. Convert to DOCX, PDF, etc. with those same programs.
Choose Change User Name. Click into the Initials text box under the Personalize your copy of Microsoft Office section. Type your initials. Click the OK button. Your initials will now appear in the document anytime you use an option on the Review tab such as adding a new comment or deleting a word.
