in this video we will learn about the sequence of finishing elements in a did a strict task topic we will be using oxygen XML editor version 17 on a PC in text view so in our task topic after the steps element we are allowed to add three optional finishing elements the result element the example element and the post rec element if you use any or all of these elements they must go in this strict sequence if you try to add a result element after an example element a result element after a post rec element an example element after a post drag element or to use these elements in any other sequence than they were intended the document will no longer be valid there is also a constraint that if you use any of these elements you are only allowed to have one of each so for example adding more than one result element will mean your task is no longer valid

The three base DITA information types are concept, task and reference. What is a topic? A topic in DITA is an independent chunk of information covering a single idea or task, authored as a unit, and stored in its own file.
Information Types DITA provides three base topic types (concept, task, and reference), a number of extended topic types, and the capability to create new topic types through specialization.
To chunk DITA topics, you set the chunking attribute on the that contains the sub-topics in a DITA map . There are several values that you can set on the chunking attribute (for example, by-topic or to-content ). See the DITA documentation for full details.
Basic concepts DITA has been designed to satisfy requirements for information typing, semantic markup, modularity, reuse, interchange, and production of different deliverable forms from a single source.
Content created using DITA is in XML format, making it machine-readable. DITA content is componentized, arranged in topics and maps, and most commonly stored in a component content management system (CCMS).
DITA map and topic documents are XML files. As with HTML, any images, video files, or other files that must appear in the output are inserted via reference. Any XML editor or even text editor can be used to write DITA content, depending on the level of support required while authoring.
