Adding a Hyperlink to a Document or File Select the text to be hyperlinked in the XHTML editor. Click Insert/Edit Link. The Insert/Edit Link dialog appears. Select Document.
There are six levels of numbered headings in XHTML with h1 as the most important and h6 as the least. XHTML does not itself cause section numbers to be generated from headings.
The six heading tagswritten as , , , , , and indicate the highest ( ) to lowest ( ) precedence a heading may have in the document. The text enclosed within a heading typically is rendered by the browser uniquely, depending upon the display technology available to it.
HTML defines six levels of headings. A heading element implies all the font changes, paragraph breaks before and after, and any white space necessary to render the heading. The heading elements are H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, and H6 with H1 being the highest (or most important) level and H6 the least.
The APA Publication Manual (section 3.03, pp. 6263; see also the sample papers) gives guidelines for up to five levels of heading in a paper, although most papers will need only two, three, or four.
The to HTML elements represent six levels of section headings.
To bold-face text, use the b element. To italicize text, use the i element. This is how the text may appear in the browser.
