in this video Iamp;#39;m going to attempt to upgrade this late 2011 17-inch Apple MacBook Pro from its Stock Sandy Bridge core i7 CPU to a ivy Bridge core i7 in addition to replacing the PCH on the systems board with the ivy Bridge PCH as well which of course is necessary to support the ivybridge CPU now in this case you can see Iamp;#39;ve got a mid 2012 seven or a 15 inch logic board here as our donor this is as you can see the 2.6 gigahertz model so itamp;#39;s got the core i7 3720 qm on it of course itamp;#39;s also got the Nvidia gt650m Graphics which weamp;#39;re not going to be using obviously we canamp;#39;t because the footprint is completely different um and like I said weamp;#39;ll be using this PCH as well so this isnamp;#39;t an upgrade that Iamp;#39;ve tried before I have no idea if this is going to work um thereamp;#39;s a decent chance that it probably wonamp;#39;t but Iamp;#39;m willing to try it on this 2012 MacBook Pro or this 2011 MacBook Pro rather just
