In Google Sheets, you can filter for cells that contain text by using the Filter feature. To use this, select the cells you want to filter, then go to the Data tab and click on Filter. From the drop-down menu, choose the Containing condition and enter the text youre looking for.
To use the UNIQUE function in Google Sheets, simply type =UNIQUE(range) where range is the cell range you want to extract distinct values from.
To use the FILTER function in Google Sheets, select the range you want to filter. After the comma, type in the column or row you want or the condition it must meet. For example, using =FILTER(A1:H1001,iseven(A1:A1001)) will only return rows with an even ID.
Use a formula Type an equal sign (=) in a cell and type in the function you want to use.
The FILTER function allows you to filter a range of data based on criteria you define. In the following example we used the formula =FILTER(A5:D20,C5:C20=H2,) to return all records for Apple, as selected in cell H2, and if there are no apples, return an empty string ().
Pressing Ctrl+Shift+Enter while editing a formula will automatically add ARRAYFORMULA( to the beginning of the formula. Note that array formulas cannot be exported.
Auto-LaTeX Equations Open a document in Google Docs that you want to edit, then click Extensions - Auto-LaTeX Equations - Start. This will open a sidebar where you can render equations.
