Best Answer the Code 39 Font Package by extracting the zip and double-clicking the EXE. Return to the IDAutomationC39FontAdvantage folder and open the Crystal Reports Formulas. Right-click the barcode object and choose Copy. In the desired report, right-click and choose Paste.
In order to bold selected words/fields in a formula you will need to surround them with html tags for bold, , and format the field as HTML.
The formula for doing this is: Step 2: Place the new formula field in the Page Footer. Step 3: Right-click on the formula field in the report and select Format Field Step 4: Using the Paragraph tab, change the Text interpretation to HTML Text.
How to create a bar code in Crystal Reports Create a new formula. Add the field that will be encoded in the bar code, for example CnBioID. Add asterisks around the field: * + {CnBio. CnBioID} + * Save and Close the formula. Change the font of the formula to 3 to 9 Barcode

If youre prompted to allow the program to make changes to your computer, and if you trust the source of the font, click Yes.
Ive found two ways to change the text font of a field: The first is the standard choice of the font from the corresponding dropdown menu. The second is right click on the field and then select the option Change to barcode.
Right-click on a column and goto text box property. In the Font option, we change the font, style color and so on.
Right-click the desired field you wish to change. Select Format Field or Format Text. On the Font tab, click X+2 across from the font property you wish to change (ex: Color or Style) In the Formula Workshop window, you can specify the conditions for when to change the font color or style.
