mac os has a built-in feature where you can select any text in an article like this and make your computer to shorten it for you automatically this feature is called summarize let me show you on an example i have an article here which has seven pages that would take a while to read it all more scientifically the average reading speed is around 200 to 250 watts in a minute 4 non-technical materials so roughly around 2 minutes per page if we recalculate it it will take me around 15 to 20 minutes to read this what i can do instead is to press command a to select all then right click it or ctrl click the text and under services you should see something called summarize bring that up and it shows the text in this little window now i can drag the slider to shorten the text and it will only include body things is important of course itamp;#39;s just using an algorithm to figure it out so it may or may not be accurate i wouldnamp;#39;t go so far in shortening it maybe somewhere in half but e
