n well hello friends and welcome to ask Zack today weamp;#39;re going to talk about one of the coolest instruments that Leo Fender ever made and that wasnamp;#39;t a huge success and that is the fender electric mandolin of course collectors have uh given it the the nickname the Mando cter which is a cool name and when I think Mando cter I think of the little uh five string mandolins that Joe Glazer made for Ricky Skaggs with Benders on them and such but uh these are very cool little instruments very uh you know theyamp;#39;re uh theyamp;#39;re pretty rare and so a lot of collectors like to have them cuz they look like uh little little strats or PAB bases So today weamp;#39;re going to do a uh you know kind of shallow dive talk about the specs of these things and how they changed through the years and its original lifespan from 56 to 76 or so and then weamp;#39;re going to do a deep dive because weamp;#39;re going to talk about why Leo Fender made this why he made
