would you eat this raw these are oysters in a jar apparently once these are shucked they can stay in this jar and be okay for up to three weeks a company that sells oysters in a jar says on their website that they recommend these to be cooked not because of health concerns but because of quality for me I eat them raw but I let them sit in vinegar and onions for about 30 minutes to quote cook sometimes even longer this is inspired by a Filipino technique called ginilau or cold cooking fish in either vinegar or citrus juices kind of like Ceviche so after I do this I feel like itamp;#39;s fine for me to eat Iamp;#39;ve eaten this several times and so far so good but hereamp;#39;s a disclaimer thereamp;#39;s always a risk when eating raw foods ultimately you make the call itamp;#39;s good huh like it doesnamp;#39;t even really taste raw almost cooked in vinegar I love it
