Answer: Open the report in Design View mode in the Crystal Reports application. Right-click on the affected field on the report. Select Format Field. On the Number tab, click Customize. Mark the Display Currency Symbol checkbox. Choose either Fixed or Floating setting (described below) Click OK.
How to remove decimals from a number field or formula in Crystal Reports Right-click on the field or formula. Select Format Field. On the Number tab, choose the format to use from the list or click Customize to create a custom format. Click OK.
Use the Control + H shortcut to find and replace commas quickly. If you plan to use the find and replace option to remove commas from your Excel spreadsheet, you can use this keyboard shortcut to open the Find and Replace dialog box. This can save you time.
Right-click the formula and click Format Field. In the Number tab, click Customize near the bottom. Change Decimals to 1 and remove the checkmark for Thousands Separator. Click OK.
Right click on the report field and choose Formal Field. Go to the Number tab and click Customize. Click on the Formula button next to Decimals: Enter the formula that determines how many decimal places to use the result of the formula will be the number of decimal places the report will use.
In the crystal report designer view: Right mouse click on that field, and select Format object . Select Custom Style in the Style list, and click Customize . Untick Thousands Separator , and any other unwanted formatting.
Place the formula on the report. Right-click the formula and click Format Field. In the Number tab, click Customize near the bottom. Change Decimals to 1 and remove the checkmark for Thousands Separator.
