this is one of the most common questions I get on all of my JavaScript videos and thatamp;#39;s why do I have these extra commas at the end of my rays and my objects so this is known as a trailing comma and while it might seem subtle and it is it actually has an important use case so for example if we had no comma here and I wanted to add a value what do I have to do weamp;#39;ll have to add the comma in and then I add the next value and then I would push this into git and whatamp;#39;s going to happen when I make this git commit well the commit is going to show that I added a line and I edited this slide and that just muddies up the git history a little bit because I didnamp;#39;t really edit this line all I needed to do was add a comma and then if somebody in the future realizes thereamp;#39;s a bug with this line theyamp;#39;re going to look to the git history and the get blame and theyamp;#39;re going to see the last time this line was changed and itamp;#39;s just going to

Use safe characters in URLs CharactersEncoding Safe characters Alphanumeric [0-9a-zA-Z], special characters $-.+!*(), No Reserved characters ; / ? : @ = Yes* Unsafe characters Includes the blank/empty space and # % { } | \ ^ ~ [ ] ` Yes
URLs can only be sent over the Internet using the ASCII character-set. Since URLs often contain characters outside the ASCII set, the URL has to be converted into a valid ASCII format. URL encoding replaces unsafe ASCII characters with a % followed by two hexadecimal digits. URLs cannot contain spaces.
1) Get the sentence as a String. 2) Use the String class replace/replaceAll methods to replace the comma with another character. and as Sridhar told can use raplace or replaceAll method to replace , with any char you want..
Answer: While its definitely possible to use commas in URLs, its not a widely used practice, nor is it recommended.
Sometimes website systems dont handle special characters very well, ending up in creating partial URLs for links. Commas will work but there will be a little mess when exporting URLs to CSV/Excel :) Standard is to use - or . But commas will work - you dont have to change URLs.
We mostly spit a string by comma or space. We use the split() method of the string to split. The split method accepts one or two parameters based on the requirement. The regex parameter defines a regular expression which is applied to the string/text.
To remove the last comma from a string in PHP, you can use the rtrim function. The rtrim function removes any specified characters from the end of a string. In this case, we are specifying a comma and a space as the characters to be removed.
There are only certain characters that are allowed in the URL string, alphabetic characters, numerals, and a few characters ; , / ? : @ = + $ - . ! ~ * ( ) # that can have special meanings.
