CUT TO:, CUT TO BLACK., FADE IN:, and FADE OUT. are the commonly used transitions used today. Add transition in a separate line in capital letters where CUT TO:, CUT TO BLACK., and FADE OUT. (O.S.) means off screen and is used when a character isnt on camera, but their voice can still be heard, perhaps behind a door. (O.C.) means off camera indicating the character is part of the scene but not seen on camera at that moment.
FADE IN is the first text on the first line of your script (the beginning). FADE OUT or FADE TO BLACK is for the end of the script. Writing THE END in place of either of those will work as well. DISSOLVE TO is the proper transition to use within the script, if needed.
