For a Mac, the shortcut is Command + Shift + X. Pressing the shortcut once will apply the strikethrough.
Go to the Font tab in the Format Cells dialog box. Check the Strikethrough box. Optionally, you can make other formatting changes, such as setting a light grey font color for crossed-out entries. Click OK to close the Format Cells dialog box.
Click the field where you want to create the custom input mask. In the Field Properties area, click the Input Mask text box, and then type your custom mask. Press CTRL+S to save your changes.
How Do I Black Out Text in Excel? To black out text in a form, simply select a black fill color for the cell form in Home Format Form Cells. Or just select black from Front Fill Color Theme Colors.
First, select the cells in which we need the Strikethrough format. Now, use the Excel Strikethrough shortcut key, Ctrl+5. The data will strike out, as shown below.
Press Ctrl+D on Windows or Command+D on Mac. Click the Strikethrough option under Effects in the middle of the window. Press OK.
