[Applause] okay today weamp;#39;re going to talk about flexgate now many of you guys already know what flexgate is but to those that donamp;#39;t what flexgate is flex 8 refers to a design flaw on 2016 and 2017 um macbook pros now apple only officially acknowledges the 13-inch macbook pros made in 2016 to have this issue but that is false so 2017 machines are just as commonly affected and the 15 inches are also just as commonly affected but apple wonamp;#39;t admit that so the 15 inches actually have the same flex cable the same flex cable length everything compared to the 13 inches and the 2017 machines are pretty much unchanged other than a few processor and just processor options you know they have a newer generation cpu so otherwise theyamp;#39;re pretty much an identical machine so here we have a 15 inch macbook pro that came in with the complaint of no backlight so if we plug this in weamp;#39;re going to notice something here weamp;#39;re weamp;#39;re going to tilt our ma
