hello everyone in this quick tip video iamp;#39;m going to show you how to solve an issue i encounter while importing geometry from an old myosin the issue is simple even with the normals facing the right way and with the default number assigned the geometry displays black in the viewport so here iamp;#39;m importing the geo assigning the default lambert delete any namespaces associated and just move the geometry to the center of the grid and as you can see the geometry is black this is most likely related to the normals if we do a normal reverse still we have black shading in the viewport letamp;#39;s undo and go to display polygons face normals you can also increase the normal size just for visualization so right away we see that the normals are a bit weird although they seem to be facing outwards we can do a reverse normals and now they look like they should if i delete one of the faces you can see that inside we do have the correct shading which is confusing because we have the
