Redacting By Pen. Redacting sensitive data from a bank statement by hand can seem like the easiest method. Using a black marker to black out confidential information on physical copies of your bank statement isnt new, and is an accepted practice. Just print out the file, and cover up the parts you wish to conceal.
Heres how to black out text in a PDF: Open your PDF in docHub. Select Tools, then Redact. Select text. Either double-click to select the text or drag to select lines of text. Apply redaction. Once youve selected the text you want to remove, click Save to apply the changes and save the document.
Redaction Tool For Microsoft Word To use the redaction tool in Word, you first need to select the text or images that you want to redact. Then, go to the Review tab in the ribbon and click on the Redact button. This will open the Redaction pane on the right side of the window.
