hi everyone chris here with blind appeal hope youamp;#39;re all having a great day today weamp;#39;re going to talk about room darkening or blackout shades [Applause] stay tuned [Applause] so what are blackout shades blackout shades are anything that essentially does not allow any light to penetrate through the material uh aka blackout shades now before moving forward i want to point out that any window coverings is going to be installed inside the window frame is going to have what we call a halo effect which is basically a light gap along the edges which means itamp;#39;s not going to block out 100 but at least most of it you can reduce the light gaps even more with light blocking side channels which are attached to the edge of the window frame however some people may find these in eyesore or too industrial and bulky but itamp;#39;s all preference so what shades do come in blackout shades pretty much everything except for forward blinds but with blinds although they do ke
