If you have black stains on your teeth, youll need to consider the possible causes before you determine how to get rid of them. Using tobacco, drinking coffee or tea and consuming alcohol can lead to black teeth stains. Poor dental hygiene and tartar buildup can also result in dark stains on the teeth.
The biggest reason for a deck stain turning black is mildew. All wood surfaces need to be cleaned correctly prior to staining. The use of a quality wood cleaner and pressure washer or scrub brush is necessary to remove all the contaminants like dirt, grime, mold, mildew, and graying.
The way in which you remove a black stain from your teeth will depend on its cause. If the cause is due to plaque or tartar build-up, teeth whitening products such as whitening strips and in-office treatments are options. Whereas if the black spot is due to a decay, then a visit to the dentist is the only possible way.
If youre looking to remove black spots, mould and mildew stains and watermarks from your teak, you could try bleaching it. To bleach teak, make a solution of warm water and washing-up liquid. Add a small amount of liquid bleach to the mixture about 1 part bleach to 9 parts soapy solution.
But, if you dont have a stain remover handy, the following remedies can also work to remove dark stains: Baking soda and white vinegar paste. Hydrogen peroxide. Wood bleach.
If your dentist determines those black dots on your teeth arent connected to an underlying oral condition, you wont need treatment. If the spots are the result of tooth decay, your dentist will clean out the decayed portion of the tooth and fill it with dental filling material.
If discoloration is caused by tartar or medical conditions, a person may need to visit a dentist. A dentist or dental hygienist will use instruments to scrape, blast, or rub tartar and plaque away from teeth. A dentist may also perform minor procedures to whiten the teeth and protect them from further decay.
